I think IRGC GF has the operational command over borders in south east,west and north west while the Army has it over south west, east and north east. I think it's two months.

What baffles me is that I have seen that border guard personnel don't have bullet proof vests and composite helmets while now even basij units are being equipped with new helmets, I have even seen that Ale mohammad security brigade in Tehran have vests. Border guards should be a priority.

Saberins are stationed in Tehran(they are know as Tipe vije tehran) but they go on operation in places like Kurdistan and Balouchistan and I am sure that they had send some there.

You guys have it easy, it is 24 months here in Iran and it is the same for every one(although if you are married it will become less). I always believed that Turkish conscripts receive tougher training than us. Do university graduate become officers or NCO there?
