You are right, it was good to read such healthy debate/discussion between Indians & the Chinese. I would normally avoid Indo-Chinese threads because they are more often than not troll fests. I hope we have similar positive discussions in future also.

Agreed, that Australian Uranium maybe for civilian use. But when two neighbours are hostile to each other, whatever one does (even if it maybe a simple, normal, innocent or routine move), the other will look at it suspiciously. It's just plain human nature. We'd do the same thing.

Oh we are pretty well assimilated in the Australian society. In fact, a couple of my close family members are married to Aussies & when I say Aussies, I mean "Aussies" and not just white Australians.

I think it would be a good move to accept the offer, because the threat perception from China would reduce & we can grow at a faster pace.
