Take a look at Japan's ADIZ, the Japan ADIZ is much wider than China's - they just about want the entire upper north and south area all to themselves and its very near to the Chinese coast even at areas which are not disputed. So things are not simple as people here are making us believe.
I was wondering as a serious question what would be the reaction of USA if there were Chinese strategic bombers within few hundred km of its coast line?.
People need to understand something:
1. It's every country's right to draw up a ADIZ, the US is the first country to do so after WW2.
2. It is still international airspace so you can't shoot down aircraft then.
