Sure, it will be called a trainer carrier because it's the first chinese aircraft carrier, but it will have all the necessary component to fight like a real aircraft carrier, just like how L-15 is more capable in ground support operations than a Q-5, but is still called a trainer.

Actually, this idea is pretty good, although the conventional sub would need some modifications such as a good AIP system, such enables the sub to to longer underwater undetected, thus increasing its survivalbility.
