The thing is that blaming Iran and showing Iran as responsible are different things with probably different outcomes. If Turkey blames Iran this time, and the next time something like this happens the attention would be aimed at Turkey I think.

I'm going to try and nuance the situation. Recently there was a thread about a potential cold war between Turkey and Israel in which this incident could be in line with. Except for Turkey and kurds, are there any winners from a potential reconciliation between the two?
Let's see if the arabs jumps on the ,train, this time. If they do I think the greater powers will pressure them into submission. In that sense statements like these are likely for arab consumption.
I think unstable or so called divided countries can equally provide opportunities for Iran as there are opposing factions within these. Where west picks one Iran picks the other. An interesting question for pakistani members is where we can see iranian influence in Pakistan, if at all?
