You're assuming American-born Chinese cannot speak the language. With enough training, one can even get rid of the funny accent. Wasn't there a story about an Indian trained to speak with a Texan accent in a Dell Support Centre?
I'm stunned that many people think interference of a nation's internal matter is acceptable. Yes people are dying but it's not outsiders concern. If Syria launches an attack to neighbouring countries (for no reason) then I would support military action.

We all understand that it takes one vote to bring down a resolution at the UNSC. However, China voted with Russia to show solidarity, inform the Western-bloc of their displeasure with previous resolutions (i.e. Libya), and indirectly show support to Iran.
