    UAV Counter-Measures?

I'm no communications expert but I am sure the military satellites are not as easy to jam as commercial ones, then again even if you did Jam the UAV I assume the UAV will just hover around or be programmed to fly back to point of Origin until the signal is restored.

    US Oil Boom

Given India's population density and groundwater usage I am not sure if Shale Gas is the way to go for India. That's IMO.

India Developing, but still a long way to go

Interesting choice to use a monorail system, I would have thought given Mumbai's population a rail system would be more ideal

What will happen if China and India switch their global position?

Interesting question, but there are too many factors at play, are we assuming the same problems in their governance is in play or not etc. That would change the whole ball game.

    US Oil Boom

So long as oil price stays reasonably high there will always be someone willing to sink a well, question is the price of sinking a well is within the 5 million dollar range pending on the methodology used and there is a good chance the well will turn up dry. Typically these independent drillers...

    UAV Counter-Measures?

No way you're gonna down a million dollar UAV by using a jammer, excerpt from Wiki Command and sensor systems During the campaign in the former Yugoslavia, a Predator's pilot would sit with several payload specialists in a van near the runway of the drone's operating base. Direct radio signals...

    US Oil Boom

Its silly to compare the Saudi Arabia Oil fields to the Bakken Shale Oil play, unlike the Fields of Saudi the Bakken Shale oil is not easily extract-able and requires complex techniques like fracking or superfracking methods, plus considering this is Shale Oil its most likely the oil will be...

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

Not just that I am surprised with his supposed travels to the region he still does not understand how ASEAN politics work.

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

So nothing to substantiate the US leaving ASEAN territory or ceding power to Vietnam or Singapore not allowed to buy ballistic missiles. So you are saying that Vietnam should break the Mou between Vietnam and the US and develop nuclear weapons. Develop them first then come back and boast about...

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

No solid link means BS, how can you substantiate it if its just from your words only? Are we suppose to believe everything that comes out from you? Slow moving bomber makes a juicy target, c'mon that's so 1980's. The CBU-55 will work if you're attacking a country with no air defense or radar...

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

Who said VN wanted to attack ASEAN (Not that you can). Your bloodthirtsty intentions & assuming that all Asean will support you because somehow you are the big brother is the cause of all this. Give us a solid link where the US has stated that they are intending to withdraw from South East...

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

I served in the military as well and I find it strange someone who also served in the military is so eager to jump into a war. But I suppose that's what makes us all different. The US has been here for years and developed a trust in the region which is hard to replace. Again without the...

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

You don't need to keep repeating that I already said we will mate. Have you experience any military training? I only ask because you seem very keen on bloodthirsty intentions. Btw US has a naval base in Singapore large enough to accommodate an aircraft carrier, we are a strategic link in the...

Philippines seeks ASEAN help to blunt China

Actually without Malaysia's support we would have no where near the success we have, Malaysia has been very kind in providing cheap food and water to us and sometimes I our politicians can be quite arrogant in dealing with matters across the border which I find unsettling. I'm quite glad Malays...
