    A Chinese spring?

Thanks, Singapore government has made quite a lot of stuff up's recently which the population is quite unhappy with. Unfortunately these are typically only voiced during the elections. Hopefully our "democracy" will show them the error of their ways if they don't correct that before the next...

    A Chinese spring?

Thanks, having worked in India I personally like it and find the people very friendly. However it seems many on the forum overrate/exaggerate the benefits of freedom. I am in the opinion that a Chinese society needs strict control to flourish, as Chinese we are too creative and have many...

    A Chinese spring?

Maybe he can tell a Singaporean what real freedom is about, because I can say honestly in Singapore we don't have that.

    China always has Mongolia

From a strategic standpoint it does make sense for China to take Mongolia if war breaks out. The card that makes this successful with be if Russia and China both work together, if Russia goes against China then the story will probably be quite different. (Mongolia being a Russia/China buffer)...

    A Chinese spring?

India's democracy is a poor excuse of one mired in corruption, no offense waving it around is akin to waving a tattered flag. If it were like Sweden or Germany that would be a different story. And I disagree on economic booms having no change on the common man that is utter bs, 15 years ago...

Dalai Lama calls on India to preserve Tibetan culture

I would disagree with the bold bit, I done some reading into Serdom and tibeten culture and the practices that took place was really barbaric, not saying that the CPC is a saint but Tibetans (Wealthy ones) are by no means "harmless". The story of the Serfdom may or may not be fabricated but...

Mate with due respect I will appreciate you not bringing Singapore into this. We are third generation Chinese loyal to Singapore our country. This is an issue between countries and not race.

U.S. weapon infected with Chinese Fakes, now including missiles

I'm campaigning against such articles mainly because of a in depth review conducted a few years ago by Businessweek, many posters create topics with articles that collate snippets of the whole situation crafted in a way which squarely points the blame at China, of course I am not saying China is...

U.S. weapon infected with Chinese Fakes, now including missiles

This same BS has been repeated many times, simply put the blame should be divided as Pentagon = 50% Contractors = 30% China = 20% or less Search up my earlier post for evidence (lazy to repost). I even found the same unqualified contractors who supplied the duds (some uneducated stay home mum)...

China makes surprise interest rate cut

That I agree, if I had the means I would definitely want to order a new E90 M3 and pick it up from Munich. I prefer the E46 series though with the NA engine and the cockpit feel. Pity they did away with that. I traveled in Europe a fair bit and I rate Germany as one of the countries I liked...

    Geopolitics of ASEAN+ region

That's a great analogy, also the mandate of the ASEAN charter seems to rule out any country not within the ASEAN vicinity (maybe I read it wrong). Very refreshing after non stop trash talk by Mr Niceguy
