PAK FA vs F22 Raptor : A Detailed Analasis

Stealth does not imply that the aircraft are "invisible to radar" as commonly but incorrectly stated in the media. Even the F-22 or B-2 can be detected by radars. But stealth aircraft like the F-22 or PAK FA have a reduced radar cross section (RCS) which makes it more difficult for enemy radars...

PAK FA vs F22 Raptor : A Detailed Analasis

Here is an extract from an article which states that the PAK FA will be cheaper than other western fifth gen. fighters. Here is a link to the full article: Russia's fifth-generation fighter to be cheaper than foreign analogues Regarding maintainance, we can surely expect the PAK FA to be...

BAE-HAL Sort Out Problems, India To Buy 57 More Hawk AJTs

From reports, it does seem to me that the deal will go through (though I admit, I am not actively following each and every development in the deal). I don't mean to be rude, but this is not the appropriate thread for M777 Howitzers. Please don't change the topic.

    Mig-27 crashes in West Bengal

Actually, it seems to include just about every single aircraft in the world and not just the MRCA contenders. So it will still be deviating from the topic if the entire article is posted in the MRCA thread. Anyway, in this thread, there is no denying that it is 100% troll!! :mod:

PAK FA vs F22 Raptor : A Detailed Analasis

I am not the author of the above part. The picture too is not my work. I merely posted an article I found. The title is a link to the original article. I know that RAM coating is different from the airframe.

PAK FA vs F22 Raptor : A Detailed Analasis

The fuel used was JP-7, not JP-17. I know it wasn't a big problem. The fuel has a high flash point making it extremely difficult to light by conventional methods. So while it did leak on the ground, it wasn't a fire hazard. In fact it was used as a coolant before being burnt.

I didn't say there was something wrong with the F-22 airframe did I?

PAK FA vs F22 Raptor : A Detailed Analasis

F-22 Raptor Airframes Falling Apart Due to Bad Glue 30 of the F-22A Raptors delivered by Lockheed Martin use "inadequate adhesive" in their airframes. That means two things in plain language: bad glue; and big trouble. The report comes after investigators finished looking into an accident...

BAE-HAL Sort Out Problems, India To Buy 57 More Hawk AJTs

Let's hope things change when we get the new basic trainers. Till then, we'll have to make do with the PRS fitted HPT-32.

    Mig-27 crashes in West Bengal

I don't think so. Don't forget that these MiGs are quite old. If the MiG-21s are "flying junk" like you claim, then why did the USAF praise the MiG-21 for it's performance in Red Flag?

    Mig-27 crashes in West Bengal

IAF's MiG-23s have been phased out. only MiG-27s are still in service.

Sir, I would like to report a user "CAPTAIN AMERICA" who has been trolling in numerous threads. Although not at all related to the topic, CAPTAIN AMERICA will start saying that the IAF has lost many MiGs, MiG-29s have a poor safety record, MiG-21s are crashing frequently or something similar. On...

    Mig-27 crashes in West Bengal

How is this related to the topic? This is a thread on MiG-27, not on MiG-29 or F-18 or corruption in India. Please stop trolling. BTW, since you seem to like wikipedia, why not look into the MiG-29 article? You will find that MiG-29s have a solid record with the Indian Air Force and they have...
