India has never supported Pak : Afridi

May they rest in Peace. I dont mean any disrespect to them. But then, many folks on this forum itself have blamed India for it. Havent they? And I bet Sohail Tanvir and Afridi would agree with them.

The Drag on India’s Military Growth

One wonders if our Mods have taken notice that this guy is a self styled judge and commentator on Indians in general and their behavior in this forum. Please report the posts that you dont like and keep your advice and judgments to yourself.

Protests in Pakistan after Ayodhya judgement on babri masjid

So? What sort of logic is that? Muslims in Pakistan are born-Hindu haters and will take up cudgels against Indian Hindus, whatever might be the issue? Really? When was the last time there were protests in the streets of India for an issue in Pakistan?

Protests in Pakistan after Ayodhya judgement on babri masjid

Well this was expected. Pakistanis consider themselves the regional thekedars of Muslims. And the statements and protests are a typical case of less worried about themselves but too much in their neighbor's affairs.

Why are conspiracy theories popular in Pakistan??

ISI's sleeper agents. And Pakistan military and ISI was directly involved. There, we can come up with ours as well!!!

Allahabad Court's Ayodhya Verdict is Unjust and Unwise

There absolutely is. You are generalizing people of one religion as hooligans and I (in my post above) as terrorists. If you can generalize one group be prepared to face the same tune yourself.

India has never supported Pak : Afridi

Yeah as if that is the only thing that helped these bowlers, right? cricketers helping each other is nothing new. Bedi didnt think twice before helping English spinners. The MRF pace academy ha helped a multitude of face bowlers from many countries. What was your point, again?

India has never supported Pak : Afridi

Just like Sohail Tanvir said " Hinduon ki to fidrat hi aisi hai!" You chew balls, you fix games, you dont protect foreign teams - but yeah, blame India for not helping you. And going by the way Ijaz Butt thanked ECB for their help, I dont think anybody in the world is going to be happy to...

Allahabad Court's Ayodhya Verdict is Unjust and Unwise

Dont use that language. What do you know of the Hindu mahasabha and the Nirmohi Akhara? Were they involved in the demolition, if thats why you are calling them names? Its like calling the WTC site Mosque as being built by terrorists! Do we call all Muslims terrorists?

How India's growth will outpace China's - The Economist

Now that we cleared away the confusions and the trolls, lets get back to discussing the topic at hand. Here's my take- I think India has a good chance of clocking 9-10% growth over the next two decades. We face two problems that are largely interrelated 1) We have to have inclusive growth...

    Babri Masjid Case Ruling Today

I dont know if there's a Masjid angle to Krishna Janambhoomi as well (I hope not). But that is the fear that I expressed in my post. We all know that its generally believed that a lot of temples were broken down. Are we going to make sure that those structures are rebuilt? What if someone now...

    Babri Masjid Case Ruling Today

Those are exactly my fears. From one angle, the judgement sets a bad precedent that historical wrongs can be rectified. At the same time, by dividing the land, its trying to give a signal that its best to share with each other rather than award the whole land to one party. And I am hopeful...

    Babri Masjid Case Ruling Today

Well the judges played safe but at the cost to logic. Dividing the land by 1/3 is ok, but its a victory for the Hindu right as they get 2/3 of a land which they had no control over. I think the biggest folly of the judgement is to accept that the idols placed in '49 can stay. One cant just keep...

    India wants to host Olympics

Hell, no. Not untill we have the capability to handle these events. And more importantly, not untill we have a sporting culture in place and we are sure of finishing amongst the top 5 in the medals tally.

Sri Lanka Try to host Commonwealth Games (CWG) in 2018

Well good for Sri Lanka. I hope they do a better and quicker job of it than we did. But I dont think they're going to give to any South Asian country anytime soon. 8 years is too short a time to give it to another South Asian country. Australia. SA (dont know if they're officially bidding yet)...

    High on Coke Studio

It definitely did. Before listening to CS, I had never heard about Sain Zahoor. Now he's one of my fav singers. The man's talent is amazing. I listen to his voice and I feel like I am close to my home no matter where I am. His voice embodies the earthiness of Punjab.
