Haroon (Iqbal) Khan and Muhammad Waseem win again!

Not to dampen your spirits, but you really think so? They have like 24 gold medals already. And given that Pakistan was his second choice, he might represent England in the future if given the opportunity. Anyways, good luck to the lad.

Australian cops joke about Indian's electrocution: Times of India

The one in bold was amongst the names being announced. I know it might sound funny, and it probably did for non-Mandarin speakers, but hey, thats where you show your class, right?

Dabangg song lifted from Pakistani Film

Good for you. Keep at that. Bet your aunts, uncles and friends dont follow you. Or the neighborhood pirated CD manufacturer would have run out of business. Btw, hows that "Tere Naam" Salman Khan poster doing in the corner VCD rental shop? :D

Dabangg song lifted from Pakistani Film

:D Well frankly, I too would take Lata, Rafi, Kishore anyday over the contemporary artists, apart from Rahman of course. I was just too chauvinistically Indian to admit that. But dont push me on it. :D

Dabangg song lifted from Pakistani Film

You are touchy about it, aren't you? :) 99% is an exaggeration. But then again, a percentage rating like that is subjective. Whats crap for you may be good for somebody else. We all have different standards you know. And the fact that you are listening to Lata and Rafi does prove that we are...

Australian cops joke about Indian's electrocution: Times of India

Well we Indians should. There's a serious lack of etiquetes and sensitization amongst even educated urban folks. Let me give you an example- I was at the CWG Badminton games today at Siri Fort. A hugely enjoyable experience and great crowd. But there was an incident that really left a bad...

Dabangg song lifted from Pakistani Film

No excuses, Jana. Chori is a chori. But seriously, you guys are too touchy about it! For every lifted song there are 50 others that are original and good. And are our music and films really crap? Why dont you check with your neighborhood CD shop?:)

Australian cops joke about Indian's electrocution: Times of India

I hear that the Australian envoy has been summoned by the FM. While the e-mail joke is certainly disdainful, summoning an envoy is certainly going a bit too far. Probably slipping in a word at a bilateral meeting or at a global conference could have been better. And is it me or is that that we...

Dabangg song lifted from Pakistani Film

Well royalty should be paid to the original composers. Jatin-lalit should be taken to the court along with the producers if they dont pay up. On a side note, I am surprised at so many Pakistanis shouting from the rooftops at every Pakistani song that is used in Bollywood. Bollywood churns out...

Chinese Dissident Awarded Nobel Peace Prize

What do you think about the guy though? Is he what he claims and is made out to be by the western media? A righteous and far-sighted dissenter? For India and Indian members on this forum, this holds out valuable lessons. The day might not be too far when someone like Arundhati Roy is accorded...

Chinese Dissident Awarded Nobel Peace Prize

Option one, seems the most plausible. And apologies, if the issue was already being discussed in another thread. I'd request the Mods. to move it to another thread.

Feel The Tactical Superiority : Indian "TOPGUN" for The Mighty IAF

Correct me if I'm wrong, but arent the Mig-27's primarily for air-to-ground combat role? What were they doing in an aerial combat school?

    Re-emergence of the ugly Aussie

Lets not go overboard friends. Lets not generalize. One of the guys was actually a Tunisian naturalized as an Aussie. Though these incidents are very immature, for me the Aussies still remain one of the friendliest people on the planet.
