India lags behind Pak in reducing hunger level: Report

You just put your finger on the problem. We have some of the worst politicians, who don't give a damn about people, only about filling their pockets. The only solution is, for the people of India, to come out and beat up a few of these corrupt politicians. Maybe it will knock some sense into...

India lags behind Pak in reducing hunger level: Report

Hardly an excuse man. China has a much larger population, but is ranked number 2. Something is seriously wrong. We have such a surplus of food, that most of it is exported. We have grains rotting in the granaries, and people still starving. Something is really wrong.

VIEW : Siachen: a costly war for Pakistan and India

For the record, the Kashmiris wanted complete independence. Show me one proper source confirming that Kashmiris wanted Pakistan (aside from those Photoshopped pics I mean) People of Kashmir did not "liberate" anything. They were failing to beat the Maharajas forces, and as per our little...

VIEW : Siachen: a costly war for Pakistan and India

Pakistan administers 25% and China does 20%. India still holds the major part of the valley. IF it belongs to the Kashmiris, and India has occupied it, then why is Pakistan even involved? Pakistanis share nothing with Kashmiris, and since you quite clearly stated that you guys don't even want...

    Indian Special Forces

Dude Spartans? They are out of this world you know. They used to consider walls cowardly. They didn't build a wall around Sparta. P.S. And still kicked the arses of invaders by the way. :D

    Indian Special Forces

Many of them do. On ***, when we told a Pakisatni member that the Israeli CornerShots used by our SOFs, are better than the POF Eye, he responded, "We aren't cowards to hide behind walls and shoot. We fight the enemy face to face".

    Indian Special Forces

Silly troll. Can't differentiate the police from SFs. The terrorists were kicking the arses of our police force, which is terribly equipped, with old AK-47s and SMLEs. Even then the police put up a brave fight and tried their best to save many people. When the NSG and MarCos stepped in, the...

Aircraft carrier Gorshkov's delivery date extended

, hardly the correct deduction. But if it pleases you, then continue to believe it.

Russia rules out arms sale to Pakistan

Why would we need to be reassured? We have continuously said the same for weeks now, while Pakistanis kept harping on and on about their dream of replacing India, and being a nightmare for USA, and blah blah blah. It's you guys that need a hug, considering how bad some of you guys may have felt.

Aircraft carrier Gorshkov's delivery date extended

You know the Chinese really have a good ACC, so they have the right to criticise us. But I do wonder what gives Pakistanis the right to criticise us.

    Indian Special Forces

But then why doesn't IA dispose of the Patkas and make all the Sikhs do that. I know the Patka offers great protection, but it is unwieldy, does not cover the ears, and one can't mount hands-free communication on it. Why not just use advanced Kevlar/Aramid helmets, and dispose of the Patkas?

Russia rules out arms sale to Pakistan

It's not about what you can afford, but rather about how much. Can it afford to buy 250 aircraft in one go like India did with it's Su-30MKIs? Nope. Is there any chance Pakistan is going to do a Joint Venture and fund 35% of a Fifth Gen aircraft project? Nope.

    Indian Special Forces

Those guys aren't SFs. SFs don't use the Patka Helmet, they use Kevlar and Aramid helmets.

    Indian Special Forces

I've always wondered this. The Sikh Regiment started wearing the Patka helmets, to confirm to their religious standards. What does a Sikh in an SF unit do?

Aircraft carrier Gorshkov's delivery date extended

At least we get quality stuff without a killswitch. Look at you trolls, hopping up and down 'cause our acc is delayed.

What INSAS has really achieved after 15 years & what its future

So? Russians have offered us T-90MS at Defexpo. It might have to fight it. Not me, a retired IA officer. INSAS vs AK47 vs M16? - Page 2

What INSAS has really achieved after 15 years & what its future

Like I said, I have no source for it. Only the word of a few guys, who have asked officials at Defexpo, who said the rifle should be ready by May. LCA will not face conpetition since they have a terrible shortfall of squadrons, and need to get rid of those MiG21s. Look at Arjun. Even mkII is...

What INSAS has really achieved after 15 years & what its future

Okay. The tumble effect can cause severe fatal bleeding, which almost always pretty much kills the target. If it penetrates too fast though, the stopping power is reduced. For a shorter range battle, yes. Every bullet is guaranteed to hit its mark. But at a range longer than 200m, the bigger...

What INSAS has really achieved after 15 years & what its future

Possibly for CQB, where the ability to spray bullets with the guarantee that one hit will kill, is more important than accuracy. But in long distance, 5.56 wins hands down. That's the reason for IAs request for a multical rifle. Do you? Why?

What INSAS has really achieved after 15 years & what its future

The 7.62 vs 5.56 is an unending fight, and the only advantage the 7.62 really possesses is the lethality. But the disadvantages far outweigh the advantages, included weight of ammo, high recoil (G3 uses 7.62 x 51mm, which is the highest recoil in any automatic rifle), and a few others. Also you...
