TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

hmm ... is this fellow from a continent that could not count properly until the Indians taught them how. And when was this guy Galileo threatened with torture. But more seriously this is too simplistic an explanation.

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

Actually the Rig Vedic conflicts were between the Vedic peoples and the Iranic peoples to their west. As is well known the meanings attached to the terms Ahura/Asura, Deva and Dasa are quite opposite in the two cultures.

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

This is entirely the wrong idea ... the growth of Dharma inside India was as organic as the spread of Dharma to peoples beyond India. As mentioned earlier - Caste doesn't come into the picture. There was indeed a system of Varnas which was meant to be based, not on heredity, but on an...

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

Dharma spread in an organic way beyond India too. Central Asia also had a significant Dharmic presence before the advent of...

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

This may be true for Abrahamic doctrines. However, as I mentioned in another post, the organic growth of Dharma in India may be likened to the development of European Mathematics, with early contributors like Euclid, and many other contributors at various times, from various places.

    The commanding heights of Nehru

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

Sir do take care of yourself and your affairs; perhaps some Yoga and eye relaxation exercises might be of use. You may have heard of palming and the use of sunlight for rejuvenating the eyes. As regards this little discussion you are welcome to have the last word should you care to do so.

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

Proto-Indo-European (PIE) linguists have started by assuming a certain model (i.e. existence of a Central Asian ancestral language), have invented words for it, and have invented rules that purport to show how those invented words are the roots of actual words. Appears to be a precarious...

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

uurrrgh ... before running off you could perhaps try to understand what was written. You can't talk about splits without assuming a common parent, which is purely a conjecture. One would also have to consider alternative mechanisms. If you start out by assuming something your conclusions...

And that too without any pandering or quotas. In Modi's Gujarat Muslims live as humans not vote-banks.

Average Heights of Indians for different states

Maybe economic development has led to unhealthy lifestyle. I also hear that soil quality in Punjab has deteriorated due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. It is unfortunate, need to reconnect with nature.

TURNING POINT IN THE HISTORY OF INDIAN SUBCONTINENT

Since you did reply to that little post, may it be pointed out that that doesn't say anything about whether the said linguists are any more competent or honest than the Eminences ... Prima facie, one views them with the same skepticism as somebody trying to construct a conjectural PUA...
