I have read a book on NFAK,it was his biography.I dont know if it is true or not but it does describe about some 'spiritual' incidents NFAK was a part of.

I have heated debates with my father over this issue.He thinks Lata is the best.I try to convince him abot NFAK by playing his qawwallis but to no avail. :-( Not that it is a parameter of any sort,but NFAK had more 'Western' accepability.I mean those collaborations he had with Western composers.

That is what I mean.Lata ji is a film based singer.Her vocal qualities were limited and dedicated to film music.

I am a big fan of NFAK.Apart from being a great singer,he was also a great composer and lyricist.Lata Mangeshkar is good singer but is she as good as NFAK was? I never felt the spiritual high while listening to Lata but I feel it when I hear NFAK. Respected members,waiting for your opinion please.
