Yes its rapid fire capability can be used in counter insurgency operations particularly in mountainous regions as you said, but won't be much useful in a war situation. Pakistan army has some type of grenade launchers i think but never seen or heard of them being used regularly.

Imo it wont be much useful in indo-pak situation. Saw it being used in syria and iraq but don't think it will be useful for pak army, unless we want to fight an urban warfare with india.

According to this video German tank has longer kill range, more heavy armor which can't be penetrated by russian 125mm shells and can target with much superior accuracy. So it can kill both Chinese and Russian tanks easily. So why don't we go for altay if all of above is true.
