You seems to missed my point. However you may argue, Afghanistan won't be same as before. US is going to station its troops for indefinite period not only to thwart Taliban but also to have look out on China. India is going to invest more to buy more influence in Afghanistan to thwart Pakistan...

Talibunnies cannot come to power because they are cowards. Killing women and children or blasting off Buddha idols is not as easy as capturing power.

I don't think international community is going to totally abandon Afghanistan. There will always be US military presence in Afghanistan to prevent Talibunnies from coming to power.

Until the time Pakistanis not stop thinking Afghanistan as their backyard, any fallout in Afghanistan will always be felt in Pakistan.
