The Hwasong-15 develops nowhere near 200 tons liftoff thrust as you claim. Analysis of the 2017 launch video puts liftoff thrust in the 80 ton range which just so happens to be around the same as the RD-250. Now this is not to say north korea copied the RD-250 design outright but more so they...
Mind elaborating what you mean by this? There is not a single country that has not benefitted from tech transfer in one form or another.
Some examples:
Soviet Scud engine -----> North korean NoDong/Iranian Shahab
RD-250 ------> North korean 80T force engine flight tested on Hwasong-15...
Might be wrong but it looks like safir is still standing on the pad. Note the silver object. Also when a on pad explosion last happened with the safir in 2012 it levelled the entire pad. The burn marks and smoke is also more in line with a fuelling leak rather than a on pad explosion. If this is...
Really saddening how a SLV like safir which worked so many times before successfully is now failing everytime. What has happened to irans space program over the past ~5 years?
Modi is a walking living talking disaster waiting to happen. What the congress built in 50 years the BJP will destroy in only 10. Ever single BJP policy has been a failure. They are only good at mooching off the hard work of their congress predecessors. BJP and RSS need to be designated a...
If true then why would the north koreans invest in testing/production infrastructure for solid fuel missles? They could just import ready built missiles/components from iran...
I would not be surprised if NK had been working on its pukguksong-1/pukguksong 2 SLBM/SRBM for a long time secretly...
Bullshit. Unha-3 at best can only send 400kg into 500km LEO. Extensive delta-v calculations have already proved this. Unha-9 on the other hand if similar to Tskylon-3/4 will probably be able to orbit at least 4 tons not 2 as you have stated. I think NK should do 1-2 more Unha-3 launches before...
So is first stage of new unha rocket 3 RD-250 engines as speculated? When is targeted launch date? KJU seems to have forgotten his country has a space program. No SLV launch since February 2016!
It is possible that the safir vehicle that failed recently was the new 1C variant of safir that was announced back in 2016/2017. If i recall correctly the major change was increased first stage thrust of 390 Kn vs the current 340 Kn of safir 1B.
I could be wrong but i feel at some point iran will be driven to ICBM/nukes. From Iran's point of view it does not make sense to suffer under sanctions AND halt ICBM/nuke development.
Hmmm....i think you got that wrong
Iran has survived under sanctions before so it is nothing new for them. Once Iran develops and test ICBM + Nuclear warhead US will come begging for some deal. Just look at what is happening with north korea.
If anything US has shot itself in the foot by...
India has never had US's help in its space program. Countries do not share space technology, it is something that has to be developed through indigenous effort by every country.
In fact in 1992 US put sanctions on india for trying to acquire cryogenic rocket engine because they thought it...
Whoever wrote the article OP posted is clearly delusional. UK is no match for chinese military by any means and certainly is nowhere near russia in terms of technology.
UK should open it's eyes and recognise its place in the new world order.
