I think it is not scheduled the replacing of the l44 barrel. it would require a huge modification of the turret. the modernised leopard4 witout l55 barrel is more than sufficient.

i think nearly for the same price like a super copra is the t129 a better option. with all turkish elektronics, avionics and weapons it is more reliable than u.s or european gunships.

I think Otokar got technical assistance in some areas like barrel and Armor. If you compare both tanks, you can see it they are totaly different ,technically and optically. Most of the electronic systems are domestic made .
