AIIMS Says Many Doctors Forcibly Evicted by Landlords Fearing Coronavirus, Stranded on Roads

Don't take pains in answering me. I see you as a troll. We get beef in every major commercial area. Plus old city areas. The demand and supply is low, because the majority doesn't eat it. I have had burgers and steaks. And shami kebab, biryani, nahari. You could get killed in Hindi dominated...

    Turkey Coronavirus & updates

The virus can easily spread when contaminated hands touch the face (nose, eyes, mouth). It is a major risk factor, and shouldn't be downplayed.

AIIMS Says Many Doctors Forcibly Evicted by Landlords Fearing Coronavirus, Stranded on Roads

I eat chicken, mutton, beef, pork, crab, fish, prawn , octopus. And I live in South Delhi. Go to a club and the costliest, and most in demand dishes are non veg. Anyhow, your language makes it clear that you're trolling. Carry on.

The hate some Indian Hindus have against Muslims.

Do you sound natural when using those words? Then it sounds perfectly fine. Some people will do a minor pause, insert a word like that, and then continue. That sounds awkward to anyone paying attention.

The hate some Indian Hindus have against Muslims.

As someone who dislikes all faiths, I find such religious words amusing, to say the least. Generally, an eye roll or a smile will tell the speaker that you have noticed his religious insertion. Forceful insertion of such words is easily evident, since speaking Arabic doesn't come naturally to...

Don't think I have tried that one. Having this one, these days. Malayasian white coffee. If I need fresh beans, I go to a cafe:smitten:

Things are really bad after 21 days lockdown announcement

I should have more oats in my stash. What I miss the most is good coffee.. Hard to get it in my locality these days. Maybe I will try the 24/7 store early morning.

Things are really bad after 21 days lockdown announcement

Mostly people in lower income areas tend to panic. In my area, the max crowd I saw at a grocery store was 8 to 10 people. That was around 8o clock or something like that. I went at 11, and got some junk food. I have been building a collection, for a while. This is my emergency stock. Food...

Covid-19: India lacks capacity to stop the contagion but Indians are unlikely to complain

The writer missed it by a factor of somewhere between 10 to 20. Some old numbers(only government hospitals) https://pib.gov.in/PressReleasePage.aspx?PRID=1539877 Then there would be private hospitals. We are still way behind a decent bed/hospital to patient ratio. Hopefully, this crisis...

Dutch embrace 'herd immunity' as dire death warning prompts UK to change course

As a doctor, my preferred method would be an attenuated vaccine. Since a vaccine is not available, herd immunity can be utilised for infections which don't have a high death rate. Sadly, none of the countries have an infrastructure to cope with mass hospitalisations. (Of course, you won't try...

India Could Be The Next Virus Hotspo0t Whit and "Avalanche" of Cases

Evacuation or treating on site are both legitimate courses of action here. Iranian facilities would have been overwhelmed, so we should build temporary hospitals there and isolate+treat patients there. Doesn't matter if they are brought back or not, as long as Indian doctors are handling these...

India could be next coronavirus hotspot with an ‘avalanche’ of cases

There is no need to test every random asymptomatic person. Testing numbers in India seems quite reasonable. Next few weeks will provide a better picture.
