Whatever may be the decision, we have to wait beyond December to know it. And if the claims of Boeing, that the cumulative package of about 100 F18s is 30% cheaper than for a similar number of Rafales is true, then certainly , given our baniya mindset they will find service in our airforce.
Hi...
Very good . May be Australia and Singapore will too join in next year.
And does the US navy CBZ consists of only 3 ships. There must be some Alreigh Brukes patrolling near by.
For a constructive and troll session free discussion, please make clear that is the use of there assets like AWACS, other fighters, SAMs and network centric capabilities included or not.
@Abingdonboy Some facts like AOA for Tejas seems to be wrong. I will be thankful if you could please clarify...
Our Tejas mk2 will share common engines with F18. Mk1 shares common engine with older F18s. F16s now a days are preferred with PW engines not with GE. So no advantage.
You say mixture of too many fighters will be nightmare and then suggest that we should go for F16, if we can go for American, then why not go for the better one..... F18 E/F?
@migflug
By avionics I meant French. I don't know if they are better that what US may offer, but I know that we have French ones in our mkis.If the French ones turn out to be better, why not adopt them?
And for missiles , because it will be an advantage. As India will use a very large number...

Good. Now work towards taxation reforms.
The transport ministry under Nitin Gadkari, power under Piyush Goyal and Railways are performing well. Need to boost them. Agriculture is being ignored, it should be taken care of.

Meanwhile Boeing saying ready to open a fighter jet manufacturing line in India. :coffee:
We are gradually taking out our older 3 frigates out of service.they will be very good replacement, as we are not going to get an Indian replacement before 2022.

If the quality of product was the reason of crash, we would have lost around 40- 50 dhruvs ourselves.But they are flying from our ships to our mountains safely.
Certainly Equadroians are at fault.But in international market we should make sure they are able to fly it.
Nevertheless, I heard...
@mkb95
Sir Pakistan navy is a capable force.I can bet that more than 20 countries who are participating do not operate Submarines and Frigates together.
