This was a huge affair, to my mind bigger than Imran Khan’s path-breaking jalsa way back in Oct 2011. And was the crowd charged? You had to be there to feel the atmosphere, a pure...

Why give London a bad name? The sophistication we are witnessing could have been concocted only amongst the rolling acres of that spot in the sun, Raiwind. The brainwave...
so Zardari is considered to be a master politician whose strategies literally wiped out the whole of PPP from all of Pakistan except Sindh
better not get any certification from him! The reason many of us support IK is because no one is supporting him. He would have gained less support had any...
it was the fairest except that the ROs were not reporting to the ECP and the ECP has no idea of the last minute changes in presiding officers. Also ECP says that the trained staff was replaced with the untrained staff. Furthermore, polling stations were relocated at the very last minute. Almost...
it could also mean that the N-leaguers were so blind that they thought its only 1000s of ppl sitting at the D-Chowk who have some problem with the system. this was to show that those at the D-Chowk represent a big chunk of the society.
it seems I underestimated the area in my rough calculations. Conservative estimate for total protest area is 62,382 meter square. 3 ppl per square meter is 187,000 people. Meaning it was easily more than 200,000 people.
@Norwegian thanks man! i didnt know about this calculator thing.
i did the similar calculations. The Iqbal Park protest area is around 50,000 square meters (using google maps) including the triangular corners. With 3 ppl per square meter (see the link for better visuals), its atleast 150,000. If we account for the people outside and some high density zones...
again that asks for the question: why is an elevated route preferable to a non-elevated route? is it efficient allocation of resources to build an elevated route for metro projects? Could the resources be utilized elsewhere with much greater social returns?
Like i said, its not about project vs...
its not about the jangla bus. its about the allocation of resources. what one should compare is not the project vs. project but the amount of resources allocated towards a certain project (in this case metro bus). As per the article, KPK has allocated 14bn towards a project of similar nature...
PMLN mindset: Come up with a plan on behalf of your opponents only to sell it as a script and then exposing it to claim victory. All done to get away from issue of conceding on the TORs for the Judicial Commission.
Makes the ECP report even more interesting. With all those discrepancies (which ECP has no answer for) together with this has increased the probability of overall rigging in the 2013 elections.
it will become more clearer as weeks pass by. Its always bad analysis to claim victory during the time of the operation. Normally talibans disperse during the operation time and return with their splinter attacks as the operation starts to get old.
The next few weeks will show how successful...
hahahaha indeed! so what is being disowned here? a document prepared by the staff of ECP, UNDP and IFES?
Doesnt matter what ECP says, this is the first set of compilation on the discrepancies and these are huge. Further investigation will only add more.

for those arguing why believe Sethi when you didnt believe him before: Self confession is a part of evidence against the person making the confession especially if it was not done under any force.
