The exact opposite had happened in 2019, Feb. One PN sub had Port of Gujrat closed for four days. Insurance companies out of Singapore were even notified of the closure.

PN is buying both Chinese and European systems, so is PAF. PA too recently bought hundreds of M109s. VT-4 was a fairly natural choice, after the tests in Pak. The same goes for recent SAM acquisitions. Americans are largely out as suppliers due to their restrictions on weapon sales to Pak, else...

PAF lost an HMD deal for the JF program, due to people disclosing information way too soon. Indians grabbed on to info, lobbied against it. Loose lips, sink ships is as true today as it was before. There's a reason why PAF, PN, and now increasingly PA maintain strict silence around all deals...

I would totally anticipate them going for anything around Block 40 and below, I doubt they'd get a US nod for anything else at this point (ADF type deal).
