If the US even as much as not threaten maintenance of these aircraft (software and hardware), I’d consider it a huge favor. For now. But yes; otherwise, US will not sell any more offensive weaponry to Pakistan.

The reason is fairly simple. The planes landing in Pakistan need a support crew as well. It isn’t just the pilots getting trained there. Isn’t there a program for upgrading ZDK03 radar to AESA as it’s alongside its mission systems. Thought we had a bird in China going through upgrades.

PDF’rs still haven’t come to terms with the new geopolitical alignment of the world. Hence to constant need to go back to early 2000s era stick / carrot mode.

Can’t judge that but there’s been no resource allocation made towards the ex so far. So I highly doubt it’s happening this year.
