My takeaway from the events of Balakot and SR is that Indians have seen that a shot-down aircraft gets more eyeballs than any strike on land. They'd want to take a shot at our aircraft, more than wanting to land an SOW in Pak. The idea of revenge seems to be weighing heavily on them.
