Fuss on alcohol clouds Istanbul music festival

I've just realized that it is (almost) only the Turks who is from Europe that shares pro-Islamic views, and the Turks from Turkey (mostly kemalists) shares anti-islamic views in almost every matter. Turkey is like a hamster who runs in its everlasting cage, trying copycat the western ideologies...

Fuss on alcohol clouds Istanbul music festival

It's more public law than health. It wouldn't be permissible to go to lets say "Bayram namazi" (Eid-prayer) in a specific mosque if people there were selling illegal things like drugs, weapons or anything which is illegal or unlincenced. Proving my point, this event is not necessarily forcing...

Turkey is per say a "Secular state". But Turkey has always interfered in religion, and still interfering. Even the friday prayers is being controlled by the state. How is Turkey secular? Secularism, as I know is when religion and state business is not being mixed with each other.

Syrian Anti- Aircraft Artillery is Continental

I posted this on another thread, but here is your answer: The F-4 was making radar tests on different altitudes. Starting off with around 21.000 feet (in international waters), and then going down to around 8.000 feet (still in international waters), and then around 7.000 feet (in turkish...

Syria puts double whammy on Turkey

2 pilots missing and a F-4 Phantom is destroyed. On the other hand, dozens of Syrians are dying daily while we sit and discuss this. Nobody is taking an act of justice against this inhuman cruelty done by the psychopath Assad. Turkey is regional power in millitary, and somehow Turkey needs...

Turkey threatens action after Syria downs jet

They certainly do, actually Turkey ordered 100 F-35. Currently they have F-16's as main jet with different block models some of them modernized nationally. I have no idea what the F-4 was doing there, it was unarmed, and it was alone, it wasn't even scouting or anything. Turkish FM says it was...

Syrian Airdefences shot down Turkish plane

We will learn later today what will happen. Davutoglu will have a press conferance at 10.30 Turkish time in the morning. I doubt there will be a full scale war, that won't be very beneficial for Turkish economy but a political necessarry step to take since Assad is slaughtering his own citizens...

Syrian Airdefences shot down Turkish plane

Yeah, why go to war when you can kill hundreds of thousands civilian people (or perhaps millions?), and destroy worlds most beautiful city with a single rocket? And you call yourself a Muslim?
