India confident Kabul won’t fall to Taliban, is moving on ‘multiple tracks’ on Afghanistan

What is the total sum of actual Indian achievments west of Pakistan? No operational Iranian port they can use. No import of cheap Iranian oil Hurredly rushing out all diplomats (read spies) from Afghan No bases anywhere No trade access "Supa powa".....

India confident Kabul won’t fall to Taliban, is moving on ‘multiple tracks’ on Afghanistan

Never ceases to amaze me how the Indian's messed up the end game in Afgha. They had 20 years and US protection to try and establish themselves and completely f**ked it. Refused to talk to the Taliban and labelled them terrorists. Now end game is here and Pak and China will move in. India left...

Pakistan's Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircrafts

Google Maps often shows them parked at various positions at Masroor so can only assume they are active there?

Pakistan's Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircrafts

9 is a lot of AEW for our size, wonder why such a large number. Surely the ZDK is taking care of the south? 7 seems to be a good number as you will always have 1 in maintenance then you can have 2 locations operation 3 each allowing 1 constantly in the air from each location (assuming 1...

Pakistan's Airborne Early Warning and Control Aircrafts

7 + 3 makes sense I guess. Gives PAF 3 airframes for training or to convert later, what is of interest if the level of tech in them now as we are converting aircraft in 2021 to the same standard as we purchased in 2009? Will these planes (and all others) have the Global Eye update?

Indian Air Force News & Discussions

If below is true then it means even by end of this year IAFD will still only have 2 LCA squadrons and MK1A production will only start in 2023.At this rate it will take them till 2031 to produce all 83 planes. “We have to produce 10 more of these,"...

Featured India, US Close To Signing $700 Million Deal To Acquire 100 'GE 404' Engines For Tejas Mk1A Fighter Jets

PAF always very open with the fact AZM would have major foreign input. Pak research and contribution being set up at Aviation City Kamra. J-31 could very well be the basis or even Turkish TFX. Pak will certainly not make the mistake of trying to reinvent the wheel then suddenly drop everything...

Featured India, US Close To Signing $700 Million Deal To Acquire 100 'GE 404' Engines For Tejas Mk1A Fighter Jets

This is the danger of posting on Indian threads, replies are all BS First Block 3 metal was cut last year, capacity at PAC (Proven) is 16 aircraft a year. So 3 years is a very realistic timeline. This is not HAL. China already has 4 5th Gen projects on the go at various stages. Being very...

Featured India, US Close To Signing $700 Million Deal To Acquire 100 'GE 404' Engines For Tejas Mk1A Fighter Jets

Posters missing the point here. LCA, MK1A not even in production, JF-17 combat proven (twice!) and exported. Specs for different versions maybe similar. What is the point is that LCA has taken so long now that it will not be competing against JF-17, as even Block III production will come to an...
