Pilots have no say in what they get to fly. No more block 3s due to funding. You have to budget for their construction from what revenue the govt gets. J-10s are on loan payments and tomorrow's problem. But you won't see many more of those either for a while

Poorer (in comparison, not poor) engine tech mean longer fighters ... one can see that in Chinese jets as well.
As they mature, engine sizes will come down along with fighter lengths.
Don't need dual seat jets for training anymore. You see any F-22s or F-35s with dual seats? By now the tech is advanced enough to allow proficiency in sims before ever getting into a cockpit.
Dual seaters can use however b used for other specialized roles.
PAF did just fine with no JF-17B for...
Not entirely true re Mig-29 vs F-16s. Nato users learned how to negate its effectiveness by learning the weaknesses of those early gen migs. Of course early on it takes practice to go against a new weapon system. Practice makes perfect in this case.
