    Ohh!! All the best mate...I also gave JEE but I believe at that time it was very difficult to crack IITs o_O, there were only 3000 seats :cry: & Roorkee also has its separate exam :tsk:.

    Yes it was an ambush by the militants...happened on 23 November 2009 in Assam. A news article may be difficult to find but there was a news about this incident in Hindustan Times.

    One of my Cousin was at Kargil when this war happened, He had just joined IA. I was quite young then. He told me about how IA fought but being too young I cant remember much. Wish I could ask him now.
