How are things in America? I've heard its much worse than Europe. How the hell did Trump get into power still baffles me.

New research found the origin of coronavirus is not wet market. Italy has corona back in Dec 2019.
Wet market frozen temp and moisture is very good for coronavirus, it can live weeks if not month. So wet market is a good transfer station to spread further.

US national debt is 26T, 140% of GDP. It will reach 29T in 2021.
I suppose US debt will be like Japan in next 10 years. zero interest rate, hold by federal reserve. Dollar will be in big trouble.

Interesting piece of information on the Italians having Corona back in 2019. We live in bizarre times and I guess society must change to meet these challenges. Govts across the globe must focus on spending more money on combating such viruses.

Freedom is a charade sold as lollypop to the public. Democracy in itself doesn't lead to freedom and Plato even wrote about the hijack of such a system. In one shape or form, the public is controlled by mass media, corporations, and the deep state within Govt.

The American system in particular needs radical reform. They rely on a set of guidelines and rules that were created 244 years. Much of the wording and context was based upon old English law which is now absent in modern British constitutional law. But they still have the audacity to lecture other countries. This speaks of arrogancy.

I agree the dollar won't remain as the world's most dominant currency in the future. The seeds of destruction have already taken root in my opinion for more than 3 decades.

But I hate relying on Fundamental Analysis. Partly because its a terrible timing method and too much information isn't necessarily a good thing. The Market Operator always likes to hide its intention and most of the time it catches investors off guard. The chart is my loyal friend and with it, I should know what the market sentiment is.

China looks to be in pole position. The US will attempt to use other states to slow down the dragon. One example is India which rejected the spirit of the 2018 Wuhan conference. Bold strategic move by India but no preparation in place to counter the Chinese.

China did the same thing to counter USSR in 1970s. But China prepared 6 million army. tens of thousands of J-6 jet.
India jump on Trump's bed, but over confident that China will just sit and watch.

Plato hate democracy. His teacher Socrates was killed by so called democracy.

US is vetocracy. Reform is extremely hard.

Exactly. The Chinese look at the big picture and they calculate what the response would be if such a bold strategic decision is taken. In my opinion, Mao was a great revolutionary leader but a terrible administrator. But one cannot deny the cultural revolution was also applied to weed out potential rivals that could have colluded with the Soviets.

China was interested to collaborate with India and the spirit of the Wuhan conference was not to become rivals. But India chose to ignore the agreement and antagonize China. IA doctrine is old fashion. They believe in a hybrid war not fully understanding the significance of cyber, space, electromagnetic, and Interoperability.

I hope the war between the two states is averted. If the situation escalates India is at a clear disadvantage. IA doctrine for the last 3 decades is focused on counter-terrorism operations and conventional warfare has taken a backstep. How do I know this? Just look at the appointments of the previous COAS.

None of them have experience in conventional warfare. They have all belonged to the Rashtriya Rifles which is a counter-insurgency force. Top leadership must have the right mindset when fighting an enemy.

I think India and China relationship has passed the turning point. The damage is bigger than anything else since 1989. India nationalism is extremely high, while China is very low key, not many people in China pay attention to it, so that China government still has the maneuvering room of diplomacy.

China can NOT trust Modi any more. BJP ideology and counter China motivation is very clear. China can not let the QUAD established and do nothing.

I agree the damage is far too great for things to return to normality. When Rajiv Gandhi was in power he was someone you could negotiate with. His politics wasn't based upon blind nationalism. In my opinion, nationalism leads to destruction because in order to appease your audience pragmatism doesn't take a front seat in policymaking. The end result leads to poor governance.
