The issue in the region is that the Turks are hot headed not saying the Iranians are any better but Erdogan has managed to basically piss off everyone who has tried to bargain with Ankara hence the recent situation on Idlib

My point is the corridor along Turks is not strategic important to Iran.
Russia is a bigger player, but Iran has religion influence. The west sea coast in under Assad/Russia's control anyway. Iran should focus on ground force on Syria soil, develop secret Shiah sec which is loyal to Teheran.
