PRC in 1949 was like India or Afghanistan, I think Turkey can do it quicker if it has pragmatic leadership and can bide time I do think the seeds of that are occuring Turkey is in Africa, ME and CAS too

True but Turkey went through a same process where the decadent dynastic rule were overthrown with pragmatic and visonary leadership with Kemal Ataturk

China is a success story to be honest I give them credit where its due. Despite the uygur issue they deserve credit to turn the country around and able to challenge the Americans. That deserves respect.
