Wa alaikum assalam. I am fine. Yes. Well I have been dabbling for about 1 year but serious preparation with many hours of the day would be from last week. Its not long but I decided to give it this year. Serious preparation of a year is minimum.

Serious preparation is 6-8 hour study a day.

Age limits are 21-30. Are you thinking about giving?

Yes bro. I’m so freaking confused. I want to study chemistry & become a pharmacist one day but it doesn’t have much value in Pakistan. And I want to study which can help me serving Pakistan. I want to move back and I think CSS is the best choice.
1+ year’s preparation with 8-9 hrs study everday would be enough? Say not enough but helpful?

Pharmacist. You sure it doesn't? Well you must know more about it but I always under the impression that it was a good field here.

CSS is a great choice and you should attempt it. Yes it will be fine. If you wish to serve Pakistan then along with CSS you can also give PMS which are provincial exams. They have the exact perks without the foreign affairs and top police and DMG groups.

Yes it should be enough. Make notes and learn essay techniques. . Top English isn't enough. There is a way to write essays and that's what hits the students. I would suggest a tuition for essays.

Don't be confused. Confusion kills. Keep it simple. Relax. Don't let it get on you.

Also for books. Get one foreign writer and one normal book maximum. Don't get entire library. It would only pressurize you. You,ll be fine as long as you study

I am thinking to get my bachelors done in science specifically chemistry and then go for CSS.

Cool. Bcz bechelors s the current requirement. Although there is talk for 16 years of education ( aka masters) but nothing has materialized on that front.

Great. I really hope things go well. Very unfortunately due to some problems I couldn’t take my semesters this year so now i have to cover up with taking classes in summer and winter

Each candidate is allotted three turns in which they must pass. If you strike out three then you can never give it. The biggest issue with most candidates is the age limit so unless you feel you are close to the limit. It should be fine. Take your time.

Quite frankly I advice most people to take their time in doing this. Same is for PMS.

One of my friend is preparing for CSS. He was supposed to give exams last February but then changed his mind and now planing to attempt February 18
Seeing him studying so much gives me an idea, it’s challenging
