Pakistan Defence

Ji SD my friend; I used to travel to Pakistan for professional reasons, but that was long ago in the mid-90s. And yes, I really did enjoy my visits, made some friends who are still there. Life goes on now........

Ji nahin. I am hoping to go again..... if I can and on a strictly personal basis. I enjoyed visiting places in KHI that I'd heard stories from my father, had some great food, heard some wonderful music and most of all enjoyed some heart-felt hospitality. My only regret, not being able to visit LHR where my mother had lived in for some time and always had fond memories of, but that was not officially permissible.

As a matter of fact, now I have a huge collection of music under the title of "Sarhad Paar" which young people in India now get to hear some times and they ask, "Is'nt it so beautiful" and I say "of course"..... "Aakhir Sarhad kya hai, eik kagaz par kheenchi hui lakeer" or a thick line drawn on a piece of paper, drawn by a few (crafty) men.
