Well,not really sad,rather frustrated my brother.That's because I've been shunned by the local community for having have lost my faith.

Ahh leave them bro.Just look at me,i have voluntarily shunned my own durga puja pandal because i feel that i don't belong there anymore.All my friends do during the Puja days is talk about booze and babes which i sometime find obnoxious!!I just don't give a damn to any of those things and i think you should also do the same .

It's Durga puja I'm least bothered about!!I wouldn't have given a damn if it was just limited to that only,imagine getting the same looks,same vile words all day every day for 5 years at a stretch!!And why??Just because I do not pledge my allegiance to their set of beliefs and was also fool enough to admit that in public!!And just because of that,I'm literally a sub human thingee.

People in this part of the world take their religions extremely seriously and hence all these foolish reaction to your perceptions.Btw in future tell them that Atheism is also a part of Sanatan Dharma and insulting an atheist amounts to insult Dharma itself!Btw,don't get depressed by all these things,get out of your house and enjoy the puja with your gf

Exactly my point dude!!People always seem to be forgetting the fact that there are atleast 3 schools of thoughts in Hinduism which are totally atheistic in their respective approaches to various issues!!They just do not understand that being an atheist doesn't automatically means waging war on Hinduism simply because Hinduism in itself is totally different from the Abrahamic religions!!
