hey,im good bus apko to pata hoga dono...imran sir ji n guru ji dono ban ho gaye,so hum sub bhi taking it easy...how r u?
I'm busy with Studies/Work but I promise I will get back to on what you have requested a little later.
I hear what you are saying and I understand your points. Loosing self rule has its downsides also, according to my theories. I agree that we need to work to make our communities stronger and also keep an eye on our brothers in India and help them whenever possible in whatever way. Thanks again for the exchange of ideas.
Actually Jinnah was the first to start our Bangali nationalism, after partition he came to east pakistan and said the language of east pakistan should be urdu.....that is the start of all problem. If you truly want my opinion he was not a far sighted leader. if we were united we'd been 40% of India's population by now and his partition got thousands killed. He even had 2 nations at 2 corners, it was a strategical suicide.
But whether partition was a mistake or not, I think is not important, what is important is that it cannot be undone. Because once the Hindu's have gained this strategic advantage, they will try to maintain this advantage for eternity and take down Islam and Muslims and if possible wipe this mortal enemy from the face of the earth. That is what some of them, the hardcore extremist Hindu nationalists are thinking today (right this moment). I wish I had a way to send PM, but I do not, so I will not say any more in a public space.

Our, Muslims, job is to make sure that we do not give them this opportunity. That is one reason I came to this site, to share ideas and give some free advice, when I see fit. And I appreciate this exchange and will be happy to explain more, if any of my points is not clear.
If Jinnah made Pakistan to save as many as he could, what about Indian Muslims who did not have a way to move to Pakistan, they would remain vulnerable according to this logic. Any way look at it, the idea of partition makes little sense. We should have stuck together, do or die, all of us Muslims of undivided India, so we could take our fight to resurgent Hindu nationalist using the systems within the country. Now we have to point nukes at each other, instead of fighting in courts or ballot boxes. That is how I see it, but I could be wrong to think like this.

Instead of worrying about the past too much, we need to plan for the future and find ways to find security from our current situation. I have already introduced some ideas in some threads about that. I will also continue posting about political evolution in Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Your points about Hindu Muslim hatred for each other, is valid. It is as valid today and even more so, than it was back in 1947. The butchering happened because of the migrations and it could be avoided if there was no partition. Once you have people killed on any side then it creates generations of bitterness, so I always promote the idea to avoid killings, no matter what the circumstances. Break knees or legs, but no more killings please.

Hindu nationalists are whipping up more hatred against Islam and Muslims because we put themselves in a position of upper hand because of our strategic mistake in 1947. Now they are distorting history of this region and using it for their false propaganda.
Basically we got scared that they will hurt us, but if you look at Muslim population in South Asia and total the population of Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, we have 500 million, how could they hurt a 40% minority of 500 million people, all in one country. Now we are divided in three separate landmass, with about 1/3 in each. So that has become a fitnah, a division, an inevitable byproduct was the 1971 breakup of Pakistan. The result of the partition is that Hindu's remained united in India, but we Muslims got divided in 3 parts.

I think this was a strategic mistake, if you apply war theories and consider that each country and community is like an army.
Actually my theories are kind of general theories that are related to Path Dependence and Historical Sociology field of social science, although I have no background in social science, it is just my gut feeling and empirical analysis from what I have observed living in different parts of the world. It is not just for South Asia, it pretty much applies to all humanity.

As I said, I do not want to say Jinnah was wrong, he did what he thought was best. Like him I was also a believer initially that Hindu Muslim unity is possible, but thinks have changed much since 1947 partition. Due to partition, we now have a Ram Rajya, which we could fight from within if we, 500 million Muslims, were all within the undivided India.
