Before you try to quote the Noble Quran, please at least learn what it means. The Quran talks about the sky being a 'protective roof' - which is thought to mean our magnetic field.

There are many Mysteries in this world and Space which is hidden and waiting to be discovered , Allah has called us ( humans ) as his perfect Creation so we are bound to discover all things which Allah has put in this magnificent Universe for us to Discover , we will discover things which we will be allowed but that's just a faith talk, for science there is no limit , exactly as the faith has no limit ..can't say about other faiths but Islam never prevent anyone from doing science or discovering new things, Science and Islam never ( rarely ) contradicts ..

@waz please take a look at some members ..this is a science related thread so lets keep it there ..

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah].

From Surah A-Rahman (55:33)

Earth is undoubtedly the most suitable celestial body for complex lifeforms like humans to thrive within. However, forays of limited-scale to other planets and/or celestial objects cannot be ruled out.

Of-course, mankind is unlikely to escape the event known as the hour but this is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Perhaps the hour will occur much sooner then we all anticipate, before mankind has ample safeguards.

The Quran and the Bible have scientific inaccuracies. I remeber this issue came up in a TV program a long time ago in Sri Lanka I can't remember when or where but there were Muslim ,Catholic ,Hindu and Buddhist scholars and people could ask questions from phone and a issue like this came up and pretty much everyone agreed what matters is the core message and the rest depends on the writer's perception. None of them were written by divine beings but Humans guided by a divine being. Humans are not all knowing and must interpret the message according to their understanding. According to them modern people go after those issues ignoring the actual message.

Its rather obvious what is mentioned here has no scientific meaning, what you are talking about is not Planet Earth but the abrahamic concept of creation in a way that people could understand back then. None of your quotes refference to the concept of Earth as a planet
 
Looking at the horizon in days of Abraham Alehis Salam one could easily know that earth was curved. Looking at moon those days , its phases it was easy to know that moon was sphere.
These are just accusations that people not understood that earth was a sphere at that time.
I better be quiet.
