Same role as Yak 130,but Iran is building on western tech and logic,SU 35 is new for Iran and it doesnt have two seat version,so they had to buy something with similar logic and tech. You cant train pilot on aircraft that is based on western technology and weapons than put it in SU 35 to fly it...
