Yes my father was retired from a military, airforce to be more precise and on retirement he too got a 1 canal plot in DHA lahore.
But what we get is nothing like army. It wasn't a corner plot at all and that was a rightful allotment just like any other government who gets benefits on employment. Government officers too get plot on retirement.
