I had applied for the position of Defense Analyst in PAF this previous April; ended up till last. But the other guy was preferred probably because he was done with his degree while I had just entered the same degree. So I couldn`t make it to selection.

Sir it was in fact here I learnt the basics by watching others do it. I didn`t get any training for the OSINT. So my data collection is kind of amateurish and crude. I used the same techniques to construct reports regarding social media posts which was part of the selection. They allowed us to use their systems for the purpose. Luckily I passed that test.
I also noticed the difference between PDF and PAF. They have on-site facility for the purpose while PDF is all online work that one can do from anywhere.

Sir, this is marvellous! I have noticed IMINT, GEOINT, OSINT and probably HUMINT as well with that BSF visitor card. Is one trained beforehand or is it on-job training for these skills?
