i am surprised that of all the pictures of SSG that I have seen so far, I havent seen a single commondo wearing a kevlar helmet and body armour. Furthermore in many of the pictures they commondo units look very low to medium tech. I am sure the physical and tactical training is superb but something must be done for acquiring instruments of force multiplication.
Kevlar helmets and body armour are worn by SSG/N troops on a regular basis during VBSS training. In this picture they are not, but then we do not know the context of the training either. See this. There are other images of Pakistani SSG operators in full Kevlar helmets and body armour.
