It seems that Azad JK is not totally Azad otherwise how come AJK elections are held in Pakistna? This is the most ludicrous form of elections held anywhere in any democratic country. AJK elections should be held within AJK, not in Pakistan, The Kashmiris living in other parts of Paksitan can cast their votes via pOstal service. I find it quite amusing and hilarious that parties based on certain ethnicities winning elections in AJK.

certainly there is a vacuum of leadership which can be filled by any regional party....that is why MQM needs to get rid of its militant self and bhai badmashi style and stand on principles otherwise, all you are going to end is having two seats with PPPP leting you have it in a settlement, and you will remain thugs in the eyes of the Nation. and not as an alternative...

That is because majority of what you guys say "Muhajir" are residing in Punjab...but since we are not violent and no one is there to manipulate our sentiments, the violence remained in Karachi.

Let's not revisit the Kashmir war since it is pointless. Please clarify these elections if you have any knowledge. Does the people of other provinces vote on leadership in Azad Kashmir or was it just the Kashmiris living in those provinces that voted? and if so, what about the votes of the people living in Azad Kashmir? Were they counted before or will they be taken and counted in the future ?

They will give up, if they are ensured that ANP is not going to make Karachi 'tribal' area

I was seeing posts on some thread that the MQM is causing much turmoil in Karachi and were disliked.

Therefore, I find it surprising as to how MQM has won in Kashmir.

What could be the reasons?

I also thought that MQM is a Mohajir Party.
