Some people will be very surprised China is not on the list.

What's there to be surprised about? SIPRI said China could very well be in the top 10 if the government actually published the financial values of its exports, now that they've started R&Ding instead of license/copying/stealing. If you aren't a high member of the CPC/CIA/KGB, you'll never know the numbers.

On a side not to all the Indians here: I don't think Tejas/Arjun will make much money because the frame/chassis are the only things made in India. Even the FCS software is coded by Rockbell, while the tracks are made with German kits...

Who all are major buyers of Chinese weapons apart from Pakistan?

Iran,Sudan,Burma come to mind. Not to mention the secret trading they do with other countries. North Korea has been known to cut deals with china and use them as a hub for export deals (these are probably are not documented for obvious reasons)

china was never the traditions arms exporter,we didn't even have $ for R&D till recent years,these countries take several decades to build their brand,i think only some people with small mind and narrow knowledge will be surprise about this list

lots of mom's military enterprises would've disappeared if it wasn't china feeding them in last 90',luckly russia,she found another squanderer....and this squanderer even fails to grasp russia's "friendship"
