we call them faty commandoes
basically they are brainwashed basiji thugs without penises. Equally brainwashed and equally brutal.

edit: and they're not really police
paramilitary

look how resolute they appear to be. determine and defined, ready to take down enemies of the state !

What what are they used for? I doubt there are many female criminals and they restore to violence.
I agree to the need of a police women ( traffic, airports, interrogation, household violence etc ) , but I couldn't figure out the need for a sub machinegun totting Female commando

Thats ridiculous on your part. Please leave the mentality that women are just meant for serving men and giving birth to a child

it seems difficult to run in burqa !Is it allowed for Iran women to wear dresses like salwar kameez as they are comfortable(at least in running and other physical activities)

Iranian women wear jeans and i burqa's are quite flexible as compare to Pakistan or India. BTW - it's my observation but i am not sure as i don't wear burqa.

Anyway - Females in Iran are in almost every field, and percentage of housewife's are very less. I have seen plenty of offices where female staff is more than males.

I don't know how it's in the Arab parts of IRan or border cities near Pak and AFG but in major cities a burqa wearing woman is rarer than an Israeli. The older women wear chadors. Jeans etc... are common among younger women but they have to cover their hair (at least partially). And again, these aren't police. they are paramilitary basijis.
