Al-Jazeerah:
Women's rights was a main objective of the war in Afghanistan. Now attacks against women are on the rise again.

here

Those Afghan women should really stop putting the primary blame on Pakistan, the argument that Pakistan's support for Taliban is the cause for women's oppression in Afghanistan is absurd. When your own Afghan husband throws acid on your face, cuts your ears and nose off, stones, and beats you if you disobey or displease him.

Much of the violence against women in that country isn't even from the Taliban it's from male relatives and family members of the victims.

As for Taliban, the only reason they exist is because there was a power vacuum in Afghanistan after Soviet withdrawal, the movement began in Afghanistan, Taliban are sons of Afghanistan's soil and have spread.

A "PDF think tank - analyst" with no analytic skills.

Come on.

The violence against Afghan women is decreasing, but because of a more open society the women can now report this violence.

So come again Pakistani propaganda machine.
