Sir, according to these standards many other governments are also illegal. China, Saudia, Russia, Iran and list goes on.

Many of there commanders were ex-soviet trained militarily professional's.

I see some in parade without beards. This Patloons, celebration of independence day and Afghan nationalism display and its recording doesnt match with the typical behavior of Taliban of those years. It seems to me ISI/Pakistan encouraged Afghan Taliban to show some spirit which is shown by all the nations around the world on their national days. These same greenish vehicles, i have seen some of it on 23rd march parade of Pakistan.

The Afghan Taliban at one point only called for the unity of the country and the return of their king, Zahir Shah.
