I have seen AIRFORCE ONE Aircraft on Runway today between 6:30PM 6:45PM today on ISlamabad Airport runway

I am not able to take picture because of was on right side of the road coming from islamabad to Rawalpindi

WHAT IS GOING ON ?? Why this High Offical USA Aircraft on Runway ??? even i havent hear any kind of news that Obama/Clinton/ or any high US offical arrive here in Pakistan so WHAT this Aircraft is doing in PAKISTAN ??????

Correct me if i'm wrong but Air force one is only Air force one when the President of USA is on board. Otherwise the USAF maintains a full fleet of executive jets just like this one which are used to transport other high US officials.

Plus if it really was Air force one by protocol it would have been accompanied by an escort of air force fighter jets......

Alhamdullliah i have sense and know difference between these both aircraft and especially USA flag!!!

If i said "I HAVE SEEN THIS AIRCRAFT THN I HAVE SEEN THIS AIRCRAFT" i am not idiot bro to open thread like this.... I am one of those people who spotted many aircrafts like IL78, IL76, AWACS, C130, Global Master C17 etc in Pakistan hope you understand its hard for person like me jo ghalat bayani karay i have seen this aircraft with USA Flag similiar color scheme with USA Flag

Admiral Mullen is in Pakistan, and i am assuming that other high ranking officials are there as well, because of the death of Richard Hoolbroke, they might be there to discuss new plans.

There are two such Aircraft.

Both are called VC-25 based off Boeing 747s.

Two were built and both are in service.

One of them can be here, no biggie.

George Tenet was the director of CIA from July 1997 to July 2004.

His book "At the center of the storm: My years at CIA" he mentions that following Sept 11, he was sent by the then President Bush to Islamabad and meet Gen Musharraf. He was sent in an the Airforce One which was used by President before the new 747 versions.

Therefore, considering the nature of task at hand, officials can use it.

Maybe it was there for refueling trip? Or something else. Americans do have lot of officials coming and going, without upsetting the local media.
