UAE TO IMPORT TURKEY’S CIRIT MISSILES

United Arab Emirates army opted for laser-guided CİRİT missiles, produced by Turkey's ROKETSAN company.

The performance of laser-guided CİRİT missile, which has a high-precision strike capability, began to generate interest among the armed forces of foreign countries.

Dubbed as a significant stage in Turkey's missile technology level, CİRİT drew great interest at the IDEX Defense Fair held in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi. Roketsan has made 196.2 million dollar deal with UAE to import Cirit missiles.

Described as the official missile system to equip the Turkish Army's Atak helicopters, CİRİT could be integrated to unmanned air vehicles, ground vehicles, fixed platforms, attack planes and floating platforms.

CİRİT is the first 2.75 inch laser guided rocket to engage moving and fixed targets.

The target is stationary. I just posted it to present the precision of Cirit. Unfrtunately, I don't have an image introducing Cirit's effectiveness against moving targets but The engagement capability of missile against moving targets are proved in trials and It is an official statement.

"A typical Kasirga battery is composed of a Command and Control Vehicle, 6-9 launcher vehicles (F-302T) and 6-9 resupply and reloading vehicles, all based on MAN 26.372 6x6 chassis. Each launcher vehicle has four cylindrical tubes for the TR-300 rocket. Each rocket is 4.52m long, has a diameter of 302mm and weighs 520kg at launch, 150kg of which is the warhead."
