What's new

Turkey develops indigenous Altay powerpack

Let's not build tanks because tanks are being hit, let's not build fighters because fighters are being hit, let's not build ships because ships are being hit.

Tell me one thing that wasn't shot in war.

Now stop this nonsense.

battle tanks are outdated. they were great a century ago or even 60 years ago, but now they're useless and inefficient. And waste of money.

Turkey has been on the right track with the drone business and should further develop range of drones, aircraft engines (instead of aircraft carriers), AI, long range missile systems, and other types of personnel carriers rather than tanks, APCs and maybe ships too.

When you have a good drone army, you can destroy brigades of tanks and render them useless. These days, even Hamas can use drones. Soon enough, PKK will be destroying Turkish tanks with cheap drones..

With new technology, those are fast becoming a novelty, just like chariots have been.

Tell me one thing that wasn't shot in war.

This is why weapons evolve, otherwise we'd still be fighting with chariots. Turkey's near-stealth fighter drone is, for example, a great idea to develop further.

And Türkiye’s forces will cremate PKK we will see.

Turkey's forces can only cremate pkk with the presence of air force, not tanks. but pkk can also fight Turkish forces effectively and efficiently if they can operate an effective drone force.

consider this video:

Now consider this: an icbm launched from Moscow would reach the United States in 41.80 minutes travelling 8359 kilometers.

you can work on building drone engines as powerful as icbms to reach such distances in such short time span to attack (since they don't have pilots, you don't have to worry about the effects of such speed and pressure on pilots) instead of investing in aircraft carriers.

Something like this, for example, could give Turkey a greater advantage and would cost much less in building airpower that would dominate its strategic domain (which could be controlled from an airbase in Turkey or by AI or a combination) than building costly aircraft carriers who themselves will become targets for anti-ship hypersonic missiles and drones in future combats.

aircraft carriers and tanks are fast becoming obsolete, a thing of the past with advancing technologies opening new possibilities. Maybe even pilot operated fighters and bombers.

With the advancement of AI and fighter drones (and stealth tech), aircraft like f-35 might become obsolete faster than originally imagined.
