Top five slogans of 2014

    2. 1.
      Go Nawaz go:
It could be mistaken as a positive slogan. An extension to last year’s Naya Pakistan (the controversial slogan which managed to trouble the upper echelons of the government), this one is a direct hit at the present day government. It went viral not only on social media but on each and every non-digital platform as well. Now you will not be surprised to see this tattooed on someone or even embossed on wedding cards.

2. I Noir, do you?:
Whether we like it or not, this is by far the only slogan that established a brand name in recent years. Wait, what does ‘I Noir’ mean? Does it really matter? The slogan nicely differentiates itself in the cluttered market of smartphones. Backed by celebrity endorsement and aggressive media placement the slogan still echoes in our minds.

3. Mirchi pe Sprite ka tarka laga rey: Although this is a second series for the brand, the slogan still shouts out desi-ness, and highlights our passion for spicy food while suggesting the best complement to it.

4. Khush raho:
This slogan created a lot of buzz for Kenwood. Some people might say there was a missing link, for most it created an emotional link between the audience and the brand. It takes a basic product and brings it to life. As for the missing link argument, we all thought it was ‘cute’ and had a debate over the unknown.

5. Is bachay ki hai baat alaag: More of a jingle than slogan but it strikes the perfect chord for all mothers, as they all want their kid to be different. The Nestlé Nido FortiGrow slogan smartly differentiates itself from others by simply making a powerful statement ‘we are different’. As you dig deeper into the slogan you will find a perfect emotion.
