167 Tesla Model S Taxis Parade Around Schiphol Airport In Amsterdam
Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam is now home to possibly the world’s largest fleet of Tesla Model S taxis.
In total, 167 Tesla taxis now roam the grounds of the airport.
Delivery of the taxis commenced back in June and concluded on October 16.
Schiphol will use the taxis to display its support for sustainable mobility at the airport. Of course, the Model S taxis will conduct regular taxi duties in addition to displaying Schiphol’s support for sustainable mobility.
The electric taxis will remain in service for at least 4 years, with the possibility of extending that to 8 years.

Wuhan taxi company to buy 100 Tesla Model S85 for taxi operation_Xinhua Finance Agency
A taxi company located in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei province, will buy 100 units of Tesla Model S85 for taxi business operation, according to the bid result of Wuhan city for pure electric taxies.
The company, Wuhan Tricycle Auto Co., Ltd, has bought and received ten Tesla cars, and will put them into the local taxi market as earlier as at the end of April. It plans to put other Tesla taxies into the market in June and August. According to the company, Wuhan has had three Tesla super charging stations, which have ten super charging sticks in total. It will build new super charging piles for its Tesla taxies in the company headquarters and its 4S stores in the future. The company said it paid about 960,000 yuan for each Tesla taxi, and the taxi fee of these high-end sedans would be determined by the local price authority.
Wuhan's electric vehicle demonstrative operation company and China's leading new energy vehicle maker BYD will operate 500 electric taxies respectively in Wuhan.
